Basses you have a bad hankering for...

Who makes these?

How much are these?
Looks excellent!

Maruszczyk basses. Check their web site below. Top shelf quality (yes, on par with the big names like Sad/ Lakland/ AC and others, many of which I have owned...still have/love my 34" custom Lakland USA). Built in Poland so labour cost is low, sold out of Germany, just over the border. He offers a very wide variety of price points and options. I received a custom from him about a month ago.....had medium expectations, and all of them were far exceeded. I wanted a swanky Jag with P5 electronics....light/chambered/34"/19mm....it came in at 6.5 lbs, growls and like a ton :). The model on order (in my earlier post) is called Joker.

1. US Geddy Lee. Currently back ordered, but I am getting one.
2. A while back I saw someone post a 5 string MIJ Aerodyne Jazz. It made me drool a bit. They're "not for export" and a little hard to find. Maybe someday.
3. Dingwall - Super J or AB2. This is more $ than I can justify, but... Something much like this:

Is that Trace Elliot? I haven't seen the "tele" type...!

yes, it's a T-bass in precision configuration, made for Trace Elliot by Status sometime in the 90's. It was a very limited production, maybe even just a handful of prototypes. I have seen a statement from the owner of Status (can't remember where...), saying they only built between 10 and 20 of these.
It has a piezo under the bridge, and two outputs, one for the split P alone, and one for the P+ piezo (not "stereo"). Every picture I have seen of one of these has been a yellow one, so i do not know if it came in other colors.
I really like how it fuses the traditional P/telebass with some rather modern features like piezo and the T-bass headstock.

I've wanted one for some time as well, but given that I've already got 2 black P's and a black J, I'm going to have a hard time justifying getting one unless I get a windfall of some sort. So I'm somewhat envious of yours. :)

i solved that be replacing most of my black basses with red and blue basses :D

okay, maybe it didn't go down quite like that, but it is how it mostly ended up...

You quoted/repied to two of my posts, one is about a Fender. No?
So; the hollow dark bass is one of Adrians?
I know his basses quite well. :)

It will look like that except the pickup will be a Delano Xtender split coil, not the humbucker. Here's the garden of hankering (apologies in advance)....click custom shop, then "configurator" and .... hide your wallet......

That link is VERY dangerous. The fact that it's in Germany (I guess?) makes it easier to pass up. A little.
