I reckon that if someone threw one of those at me, I'd catch it as well. Was just thinking of updating my post as I've always had a hankering for one. ( Well, Not since birth, but . . . )

I've been hankering for a Sadowky 21 fret jazz bass. Either a US version or a slapmaster Metro version... Main caveats would be a natural ash finish with a maple fretboard.

Having owned a Pentabuzz for nearly five years now, I can understand that hankering. They are just divine. I believe they are the all round king of fretless bass. My hankering still remains for a fretless jazz though, something passive with Bartolini singlecoils for that Jaco sound. Maybe something like this with a pickup swap...

Well... I used to have a bad hankering to try out a Serek... thanks to talkbass that opportunity presented itself and now I'm the very happy owner of a fine Serek Midwestern bass! Gotta love that TB magic.
