I'll never ever let go of my Roscoe LG-3005. It is everything I ever wanted in a fretless. I bought it brand new. Just turned 1this year, coincidentally, while I was teaching a clinic just outside of Dallas. I thought it was a pretty cool way to celebrate the birth of such a magnificent instrument

I had a 83 Squier P-bass when they came out in 83 and sold 5 yrs later to "upgrade" basses, well I regretted that for MANY tears and found one 1-1/2yr ago. I will NEVER get rid of this bass again. Sunburst, thinner depth neck smooth feel and an Ash body.
Now THAT is funny.
Some folks should never say never. That probably includes me, which is why I haven't posted any basses in this thread.
There's 4 basses that I have atm that I will NEVER sell....As for the others? It would be mighty hard to lose'em.

Never, and I mean Never:
𝄢 1980 Rickenbacker 4001 - Jetglo/White with rosewood (bubinga) fretboard. Fitted with Hipshot Ric bridge, strung with R. Cocco .045-.105 Stainless Steel Roundwounds.
Looks like these 3:
- 90's G&L L2000 unlined FL
- Carvin BB70F
- Carvin BB76F
The Carvins I'll never sell because they're utterly worthless. They were inexpensive to begin with, but with their plain-jane appearance and options and unlined FL fingerboards I couldn't give either one away even if I wanted to. The BB70F is everything I need in a bass. The BB76F is too much for my left hand, so it doesn't see much playing time. But sometimes I do still need a 6 and it's worth keeping for that.
The L2000 is also completely worthless, but it's my "signature" Fender and the bass I learnt FL playing on. It's also on its way to becoming a relic'ed vintage bass (in about another 20 years or so) and has been hacked on, ground and sanded to my personal specifications. On the occasions that I need a Fender, I pick this one up and it does it better than any other Fender you can get.
Those are my keepers...

Schecter Custom-5- My first bass I bought with my money. I love it and have done so many mods to it that it is worthless to anyone else but me. It plays and feels like an extension of me
Dean Eric Bass sig- An absolutely killer bass. I met Eric Bass at Winter NAMM and he signed the bass for me and wrote it out to my name. It something very special to me
