Basses you will never sell..........show em

My Ibanez ATK... my wife bought it, it will never go. She bought it for me when I got tossed into the bass role in my band.
Cool idea for a thread. Right now I'd like to think that all of my basses are keepers, but I've learned enough about myself over years to know that I'm dangerous when I talk like that. 
Nonetheless, these two have permanent spots in the pantheon...my fertile myrtle Roscoe and the massive walnut MTD.

These two might be a little tuff to part with
Paid $800.00 for the Jazz (just last year) and $500.00 for the Precision about 8 years ago.

My 2001 Jazz- it has been played at almost every gig that I have done since I got it new. I have gone through scores of basses since then, but the Jazz remains...

The walnut top on the MTD is killer......just killer!!!!!!!!!

I think that I said, "I'd never sell this bass", about all of these at one time or another 
....
... and yet they're all with new owners now

This one will probably stay with me though, as it's a fantastic player, with bullet-proof construction.
The other factor, with regards to not selling it, is the fact that I would get nowhere near what I paid for it (as it's a "parts bass").

2 basses that I won't ever sell, 2007 Carvin LB75AP Anniversary and 2008 MIA Fender Jazz V, their here to stay.
Well, here's one that's different!
Though I did put a BadAss bridge on it way back in the early 80s in college. This one is a 76.
As for basses I'd never sell, certainly not my 76 jetglo Rick 4001. The 06 Amber Fireglo Rick 4003...hmmm...maybe one day. Still not sold on the 4003 sound vs the 4001.
I swore a oath to myself that I will never EVER sell those 2 beauties

I am such a GAS-bag, I am afraid to say never, but I actually think I have matured a bit in deep middle age, and I understand that my Jazz is a great bass that I should keep. That ne Fender price hike is a huge incentive too!

'Never' is a long time, but I don't see myself letting any of these go. I've had the Tobias for twenty one years and the F-Bass for seventeen. The Jerzy is a newcomer at two and a half years, but it's my fav of the bunch and gets at least 90% of my playing time.
My Tobias.Was jumped Sat. night after a gig.(see post in Misc. section)They tried to take it from me.I took an asswhoopin' over it,sure ain't gonna sell!!!!!
