He was a solid player (and great actor) and genuine human. Seeing these artists I grew up watching/listening to dying young, relatively close in age to me, is not helping my anxiety in general about aging.

That’s awful. Watched Theo grow up and saw him as an adult in some good roles. What a tragedy.

I know that I literally and figuratively ‘grew up’, probably in part because of his character.

Before I read more about him and figured out that his character outside of the show was just as good. Not to mention the killer Bass Player part.

Oh man, I loved the Cosby Show as a kid, and a lot of it had to do with how likeable "Thedore" was. Very sad news.
