All these have seen time. I really like the extended range basses for contemporary worship.

Do bands at progressive Christian churches play 11 minute songs with bridges in 17/16?

Hey Dan, what church is that (if you don't mind me asking)? I have relatives in So. Cal (El Cajon, Santee, Guatay and Campo). I wouldn't mind coming to a Sunday morning service the next time we're out there.I don't know about progressive, but we do a REALLY wide range of stuff. Pretty good players, we get the music in time for one run-through before the service - with very few clams! Usually,a full band, percussion, 30-45 piece orchestra and voices, so the possibilities for trainwrecks boggle the mind.
I have several nice basses and rotate between them - they are listed on my profile.
I play through a GK 2x10 combo for a bass monitor and send to the board for the mains and other monitors. The PA is a pretty serious setup - 64 channels, 24,000 watts.... sounds good and the main sound guys is one of the two best I've worked with over the years.
