Awesome shoes!!!

Cherie :hyper:

I went to a foot doctor because I have arthritis in my feet, mostly from getting old after having multiple wierd inkuries.

The most surprising thing he told me was that 'regular' shoes are intended for a maximum weight person of about 225 lbs. If you weigh more than that you xan never get sufficient ankle support. So he told me to try out either of two particular shoes. I forget what the other one was called, but the one I bought was a great shoe with an AWFUL name. They might as well have just named it "Fat Guy Shoe". I think the company finally realized that because they changed the name of the womens version. I wear...THE BEAST by Brooks.Invalid Link RemovedMine are the blue trimmed version.

I have three pairs of Globe skate shoes (black, brown and white), one pair of globe slip ons, one pair of Osirus skate shoes, one pair of old school adidas in red, one pair of campea indoor soccer shoes, two pairs of flipflops, two pairs of dress shoes (black and brown), a pair of nike running shoes, winter work boots, summer work boots umm, I think I have more, but I can't think of any right now. I like shoes.

I'd totally wear those. And I'm looking for some pink Converses for my daughter. No luck so far.
I'd like to get a couple, three pairs of canvas Converse and call it a day.

But nooOOOooo . Gawd, Darwin, or whatever has seen fit to "bless" me
with Yeti-feet. 15/5E (yes, five E's :crying: )

My choice is limited to some banal lookin' Propet's at zappos.com

Dude. I don't run into a lot of people with bigger extremities than me. I'm impressed.

Cheers - I think they are awesome. In case you hadn't spotted, the back is doves, so the Camo/Doves combo makes for a cool contrasting War/Peace pair of Chucks!

Oh, and pink Converse are really easy to find. Just buy them off the internet. If you aren't sure what size she needs, take her to a shop and just try on any pair of Converse that are the same style as she wants (Hi Tops, Lo Tops, Knee Highs, etc). Find the size she takes and then order the pinks ones from the web. Since all Converse are the same, but different colours, once you know what size you take, you can safely order them without trying them on! Ace!

Platform boots....they work well with just about anything :smug:

Cool boots...great outfit!

How do you carry your rig in those, though? I could never climb in and out of our trailer and carry heavy equipment in such heels.

Can't really wear heels anymore...not high ones, anyway. I've injured my legs and ankles too many times...results in paaaaaiiiiinnnnn if I stand in heels for more than an hour.

I envy you, girl...truly awesome outfit and those boots rock!
