Bassists with Beards Club

Oh cool! I had no idea this club existed until I saw someone's signature line with their number in it! I don't have a picture to prove my qualifications, BUT my screen name itself tells of my hirsute status. I am actually an advisor on another forum dedicated to beards!

I use beard oil. I get mine from BaldyBeardy beard products. He has an etsy shop where he sells all sorts of beard products. In fact, he sells a Pine Tar soap that he has named after me and includes a picture of my face on the wrapping!

Beard oil's main function is to seal in moisture to keep your beard from getting brittle. It also gives it a nice healthy shine and most have nice scents as well.

Here's an older picture of my credentials. These days I have a good deal more hair on my head and my beard is an inch or so shorter. Also, all three of those basses look different. The cabronita has a pickup cover. The sunburst P has a bridge cover, and the Orange P has a tort guard, creme pickup casings and different knobs.

Yo, beard club! I'm comin' back! Was on hiatus for a while, but currently getting fuzzier. I'm reclaiming my number (whatever it was).

Here's what happened: my band was headlining on Saturday night of a 2-day festy a couple of weeks ago. Before our set my wife and I were perusing the wares at the various vending booths around the perimeter. We happened on a beard oil enterprise, like what El Spearo referred to above. She liked the scent of one concoction they call "Big Sexy". And indeed it must be good, they only had one bottle left. We bought it. I said "but, honey, I don't have a beard to put it on." Voila, clearance to go to the wild & wooly side once more!

So now I'm all scratchy and prickly, but in another week or so... Big Sexy, c'est moi!
