Batman Begins

really?

where'd you hear that? link?

cause the end of the film foretold another, remember? ;)

I will admit - I was just told that by a friend, who swore it up and down to be true. It was just confirmed today, however, that Bale signed on to be in the next one. [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] (Scroll down a bit)

As for "another"... no, I don't remember. They were talking about the joker, if that's what you're referring to? I am confused. :D

I agree that it's easily the best Batman movie ever. Maybe even my favorite movie based on a comic book ever. And Batman isn't even my favorite superhero.

I also agree that the fight shots were terrible...the prison stuff was dizzying, and not in a good way.

And Katie Holmes is not hot, I don't care what Tom Cruise thinks. I thought she was lame...didn't buy her little speech at the end.

I really liked the movie.

I just hope that Mark Hamill plays the joker in the sequel.

I know he would be absolutely awesome, considering the good job he's done in the past, but I think they might go with A) someone who would do it a bit "darker", and B) someone a bit more high-profile. Not that we all don't love Star Wars, but Hamill hasn't been doing a whole lot of big-name jobs lately.

Though it would be great if he did get the part. :D

My buddy(who is a huge batman fan...like lives and breathes batman) says they are considering Steve Buscemi for the joker in the next one. I don't think Mark Hamill could pull off the joker, I don't think he's dark enough for it.

On other message boards, I'm hearing rumors of Crispin Glover.

i win.

Christian Bale - Batman/Bruce Wayne
Liam Neeson - Henri Ducard
Michael Caine - Alfred Pennyworth
Gary Oldman - Jim Gordon
Tom Wilkinson - Carmine Falcone
Ken Watanabe - Ra's Al Ghul
Morgan Freeman - Lucius Fox

WOW! Talk about talent!!!!

Shoot, I'm not big into action movies, but this looks like it might be a winner!

I'll be seeing this very soon...

i thought that there was a joker reference at the end to try and tie it into the first movie. :hmm:

See, the thing is that these movies are NOT "prequels" to the other Batman movies that have already been made.

They're do-overs. As in, pretend the others were never made. These have nothing to do with them, plot-wise, character-wise, or anything. And considering how important the Joker is to the character Batman, they _have_ to use him.
