Batman Begins

I especially loved how angry Batman was, especially when he was interrogating the guy on the wire as he went up and down. His voice was just perfect. Oh, and the tumbler is the greatest vehicle. I really don't know what was better, Batman's anger, or the tumbler. Overall though, Christian Bale is the man.

Edit: Greatest car ever. http://www.howstuffworks.com/batmobile.htm

Just saw this flick last night. Best Batman movie to come out IMO, but Katie Holmes sucked. Couldn't act if her life depended on it. Christian Bale was good I liked him in American Psycho. Morgan Freeman was excellent IMO. The writing and directing was superb as well as the effects IMO. I noticed there was a lot of fighting, even in the first 5 minutes of the movie when he takes out like 10 dudes at once....totally cool. The only thing that ruined it for me was Katie Holmes. I think she made it this far in Hollywood based on her looks, because she really can't present herself as a character in a film at all.
4 out of 5 stars.

Oog :D

Saw it last night, It was f*cking awesome everything was perfect except katie holmes and her frowny big eyed puppy face (talk about female stereotyping) she was mean with a taser though. :D

we went in at 8.30pm and it was about 11.00pm when we came out, that was way too long even if it was good, i was twitching in my seat toward's the end. :(

P.S the whole climbing the mountain bit was soooo cliched.
but I will probably watch it 7 times. :hyper: :D :D :D

i'm sure the director intentionally did this, to make some sort of statement about the chaos of hand-to-hand combat, or who stealthy batman is. but i think it was the sole failure of the film.

I beg to differ. I loved the style of the fights. It was fast furious and left just about everything to the imagination. I was so dissapointed with the fighting in the other Batman movies, as they were always just bad, not really doing justice to the 'most deadly martial artist in the world'.

Also it worked with the theme of Batman. It was kind of like seeing the combat from the villian's point of view, just a flash, struggle for 3 seconds then he's gone.

I loved the movie. <3

I think it was a good length for the movie, wasn't too short, and wasn't too long(just over 2 hours minus previews). One thing that pisses me off about most movies is that they are 90 minutes long and thats it. Seems like they are over too quickly. Something in the 105-130 minute range is good, after that it does get a bit long(with the exception of LotR).

Actually I'd be pretty happy if they cast Hamill as the Joker. He did the voiceover for the joker in Batman: The Animated Series, and he did a fantastic job of it. That's where he's been, btw, mostly doing voice over acting. Honestly I'm hoping they don't do another Joker flick though. They won't be able to top Jack Nicholson's interpretation of the role. It was too perfect. I'd like to see them do Bane, personally. It would fit with the darker feel of Begins.

I'm just a couple years behind, but I did watch this movie last night. I thought it was great. I didn't make the Ducard/Cramer connection, but I felt like Ducard was going to come back later in the movie.

Side point, nice stroll down memory lane seeing all the usernames from days gone by.
