So I bought the Krisdonia on amazon and it is a 19v not a 20v... so I sent it back..
It's supposed to be 19 or 19.5 in the instructions that come with it. But it's advertised as 20v...
I didn't like the bait and switchMy old Lenmar works at 19v, which was the Phil Jones recommended battery when they were still available. The Krisdonia would work.
I have tried two of those Poweradd packs - don’t work for me as they both don't like full power. If one plays light, they work OK. I have another brand that works OK, but it wont fit in the handle.
What's the other brand that you use?
Earlier today I received this response from Phil Jones tech support:
We are not familiar with many brands of batteries, but you will need a battery supplying 20 volts that can peak at 5 amps. Such as this one:

I tried.. tips didn't work for me...try this, I ordered one but haven't gotten it yetHave any of you Poweradd2 people been able to power a 9v pedal (center negative Boss type)? I can't for the life of me figure out if any of those tips work - the cable itself that you use with the PJ is center positive, and the other ones that fit don't seem to do anything. I can't even find an adapter that I could use with this thing.
Please let me know how that works.I tried.. tips didn't work for me...try this, I ordered one but haven't gotten it yet

A useful note with the Double Four: Add a pre-amp pedal to the input and one can get increased usable (within reason) SPL.
I didn't have that problem with the 55,000 mAh pack I used. With the Poweradd, the D4 would shut down with no added pre by trying to turn up the volume just a small amount. I also have the option of using the poweradd to power the distortion pedal, although I have been thinking of making my own 18v power supply for just the pedal, since it is now part of my always-on sound used with all of my amps. The pedal operates from 9v to 18v and has better sound with the higher voltage, although it did fine with the 12v output from the battery pack.[/QUOTE]Actually, you need to be careful with this when using a battery, because this is exactly how I get the Double Four to overdraw current from the (PowerAdd) battery and cause everything to shut down. Putting a pedal or preamp in front of the amp and boosting the signal is ultimately going to demand more current from the battery and that is an easy way for me to get my PowerAdd to shut off. I am able to push the Krisdonia harder, but I haven't pushed it to the limit (yet). But plugged into the wall, it can be ok. But this isn't the kind of amp that you want to overdrive too hard.
Actually, they won't work, either. Someone in the questions asked about polarity. These are center positive, so the only option is to cut the wire and rewire the opposite.I tried.. tips didn't work for me...try this, I ordered one but haven't gotten it yet

Ah, time to cancel my order and get these, thanks!

I think that's about $10 cheaper than it was a week ago.I don't know if this is cheaper than usual, but I noticed it's an Amazon Lightning deal for about 4 more hours:

$110.49
...Also, I read that it didn't fit into the handle, although it seems a bit thicker and narrower than the Poweradd, which makes me think it should fit? Not even with some encouragement?...
