My alternate plan (which I will probably never get around to) is to put spacers to make the feet a bit longer and velco the battery to the bottom of the D4.

The Powerade pilot pro 2, it doesn’t cut off like the higher capacity ones seemingly do. I don’t need it for super long periods, should be stellar

Just thought I'd report on the battery I'm using to power my double four.

I have a Dewalt cordless drill that uses the Dewalt 20v Max batteries.
I found an adapter that plugs into the battery and soldered a power plug onto the wires. I can now use my drill batteries to power the PJD4 for hours. Went about 2.5 hours at a rehearsal the other night and it still lit up all 3 LEDs indicating full power.

It's the black piece on top with bare wires. I believe the power plug is a 5.5x2.5 barrel.

I have several batteries for my drill, so I could go all day.

I've been searching high and low for this!! Thank you for your post. I thought, I have so many 20v lithium ion batteries in my tool box. I knew there had to be an adapter. Is there a specific plug I should consider buying to solder onto the adapter?

I'm a total Apple fanboy since 1986, but Siri misunderstanding constantly, the power button on the side of the phone, and the virtual keyboard are a big pain the rear. That keyboard is what's forced people to stop using capital letters and punctuation because of how awkward it is.

It just needs to be one that can switch to 20v, mine came with the cable and ends, the cable has the end you need

No. As far as I can tell, the X7 has no outputs except USB. You need the Pilot Pro or Pilot Pro 2 or any other that has a 20V output at 4.5 amp, minimum.
