B.C. Rich doesn't have the nut widths posted on their website. Can anyone tell me the nut width of a 4 string Mockingbird? I'm pretty picky when it comes to how wide the neck is.

I'd really like to get a Mockingbird, but the new ones are pretty ugly. I'm looking for one from the Platinum series; bolt on neck, 24 frets, dot inlays, 2 P pickups, 3 knobs and some sort of toggle switch, etc. I got my fingers crossed for a cheap one on Ebay!!!

i just rummaged through my house for about 10 mins and found a ruler... my 04 NJ beast has a 1.75" nut width it looks like... its the same profile as the rest of the 4's.

Hi,
I'm looking at buying a USA made BC Rich bass. It looks like a P bass with an added j-bass pickup at the bridge. It has a bolt-on neck and a couple of toggle switches for pickup selection.

I was thinking it was the ST model, but from reading this forum I've learned that I'm wrong. The ST has a thru-body neck, right? This one has the bolt on.

Also, the seller is asking $500. Is this too much? It's in great shape and it includes an OHSC. According to the serial number, it's a late 80's- early 90's model.

Any info you can share will be appreciated. Thanks!

Keep Thumpin'.
