Do you source anything locally?
Sure. I live in the South Hills. They're probably 25 minutes away from me. There seems to be a bunch of small sawmill places a bit further south, but I never really found anyone selling wood. Long time ago I took a really big piece of something to get planed to somewhere in Houston. Guy had the world's largest drum sander, had to be 5' or 6' across. It was ancient. When I tried to pay him, he just shook his head, laughed, and said get out! I love country folk.Sometimes. I have several walnut and maple logs in my garage from McDonald and Eighty Four that i'm getting milled soon that'll be used. You know those areas, Dean?
