I like the way you've come off the Hipshot D bridge and angled through the body to the rear. I'd wondered about doing similar or out the bottom with the ferrules inset at an angle. Looks like it will work fine.

Tonights adventure, truss rods and carbon fiber rods. Every Beardly Customs bass neck gets a dual action, steel truss rod and a pair of carbon fiber rods for added stability. My truss rods and CF rods are supplied by Bitterroot Guitars out of Michigan.

All of the routing and carving is done on the double neck. LOTS of sanding is up next.

Nick's Beardly came back for a tune up. It's now fretless and the preamp was replaced with a passive tone circuit consisting of V/V/T and 3-way coil (front/both/rear) switches for each pickup.

Lots more work done today on Brian's headless bass. For the bridges, i made a routing jig to recess the mounting hardware into the body. I inlayed two snakewood stripes on the back to fancy it up some. And then i dug out the heel joint. Hammer and chisel, angle grinder, and 36 grit sandpaper for the win.
