Here's the brains.

for the baritone it's vol/3-way pickup switch/tone with both tone and volume being push/pull coil taps. The bass is vol/vol/tone. There's also a 2-way toggle that allows the player to select which side to play.

Three necks carved, two heel joints dug out, plenty of contour carving, and some sanding were all in order for today.

John's fretless sapele bass is ready to go home. All sapele, ebony fingerboard, and a cocobolo nut make up the woods. A pair of Aguilar DCs wired to a pair of stacked vol/tone knobs. Strung up with a set of Labella Deep Talking Bass flats.

I used a set of these for the baritone.

I used a set of these for the baritone.

I don't believe those give baritone tuning. Just standard bass pitch. Baritone is guitar tuning and all strings need to be thinner. So what you have built is a five string bass and a bass 6 double neck.
