You won't get what ou want in one pedal. So, unless your prepared to have a handful of effects (modulation, delay, reverb) I'd suggest getting a multi-effect unit. The Line 6 M9 has great effects but, at least to me, the filters and dirt sound awful. I'd go with a Boss GT-10B in your shoes. There's quite a bit that you can do with the GT-10B in terms of ambient sounds that really can't be done with individual pedals.

I'm a little surprised you haven't recommended the Strymon Timeline. Are you still high on that? It doesn't have a flange but it's got the rest, right?
