Bee Bass owners club

I sent an email to fred a while back telling him that i forgot exactly what the neck woods are for my new nine string stinger. (its been over three years in the making) so, in the email i asked Fred to refresh my memory, on what i thought was a 7 peice neck, and much to my grand surprise, he replied with this,

"Do I have it wrong? I thought you wanted a 9-piece neck?? I hope it's OK... too late to change it:)

Fred"

all i have to say is HELL YEAH!!!!!!!! and, I COULDNT BE HAPPIER!!!!!!!!!!

The fret board is going to be bookmatched acrylicised ebony :smug:

Who knows when i get some pics of my bass, but as soon as i do, i'll post those up! WOOT!:p

Finally got the OK from Fred to post these... He won't put it on the site until it's named. I'm kinda liking the 'GrooveBee' tag Edo Castro suggested at NAMM... but I think I'm seeing it as "The Buzz"

Oh.

My.

God.

That is one of the most gorgeous things I've ever seen.

Cool James! I actually cant imagine how that model would look as a 7 stringer. Perhaps someone with good photoshop skills could enlighten me :D

You've got to let me know when he replies man, Im starting to think my emails arent getting through as they should. Im going into the 4th month of waiting for a reply now...I'm devastated.

Athe, sorry to hear about your trouble. Have you resent the email? If he hasn't replied in four months, he's simply not going to reply to THAT email. But that doesn't mean that he wouldn't reply if you sent him a fresh one. I emailed him a few days ago and have not received anything either, but that's par for the course... I'll give it at least another week before I consider resending. Nobody goes back four months in email unless they're searching for a particular email... if you want a reply, you definitely need to keep new emails coming in.

And James, if you get prompt replies from Fred, there are going to be a lot of confused and upset folks on this forum.
