Beer through a straw

I overheard a guy talking about that old wives tale, and how it makes you "more drunker." Your thoughts on the subject?

Ive only ever drank beer through a straw once, last Halloween, while I was wearing a Bane mask.
It was not fun, the beer gets all foamy in the process. More drunk? Myth!

If you want to get drunk quicker, vaporize. Instant drunk that doesn't last.

I hear if one wants to get drunk quicker one should absorb the alcohol through the latter end of the larger intestines.

And ftr the worst drunk episode I ever had was when I practically inhaled six jack n cokes (straw, of course) in a row. Beer? Not sure.

I think the " drunk"effect happens when you consume alcohol (or try at least) almost as fast as you do air. Ever notice you get out of breath when you get drunk?

There are many acceptable ways to drink beer. This is one of the more acceptable ways, particularly if your financial situation requires you to drink beer so cheap that it comes in a can.

You don't drink beer through a straw. Did I mention that yet?

Have you seen some of the recent microbrews using cans? pretty great stuff.

And yeah, I occasionally put ice in beer. Particularly an IPA. I enjoy it that way. If you don't like it, **** off.

At my bar I have a drink that I came up with, it's PBR in a martini glass with lime.

Awhile back one of the bartenders nick named it a Milwaukee gimlet and the name has stuck ever since.

However, I would never be so crude as to drink beer from a straw, that is heresy!

There are a few nice microbrews that come in cans. There's one called Dale's Pale Ale that I particularly enjoy, and I've had some other beers made by the same brewery that came in cans and all were delightful. Can't remember the name of the brewery off the top of my head.

And no, I will not **** off about you putting ice in a perfectly good IPA. At least you didn't drink it through a straw, but I still have to take one of your man cards now.

For me at least, drinking beer through a straw is as ridiculous as drinking beer from a plastic/paper cup.

Whenever there's an outdoor festival around here, the beer tents only serve tap beer in plastic solo cups because if they sold bottles, the ground would be nothing but broken glass. I've always wondered why they don't just sell canned beer.
