In S1 mode, the EQ isn't functional? The difference in S1 and L1 is confusing me.
I have gone back through the thread and taken Charlie's excellent information and put it into a single easy-to-print PDF.

I have made no corrections for typos or grammar. My first goal was simply to condense the information into one place, so here it is. If there is interest, a version with corrected typos and cleaned up writing will require someone with a firmer grasp on proper grammar editing.
Thank you, Charlie, for the tips, of which I shamelessly copy and pasted into this document.
perfectOdd.
Try it without the https, but http.

Just discovered this thread today and it's fantastic - all the advice has been useful. I've had a bass vamp pro for about 18 months now and whilst I get great tones through headphones, when I go through speakers/cabs I get an strange 'afternote' as if the ultrabass effect is permanently on. Any ideas as to what this is or how to get rid of it?
The gain of the amp would actually be the input level for the compressor, so if there's no control for ouput gain that means it's preset. Knee control determines how long it takes before the full compression is applied. It does. It has the threshold and attack. The gain is part of the overall amp package. Not sure what knee is.
bottom line is you get what you pay for.

So, no ratio control? :\
I dare say, given enough time, you could re-write the entire manual and the world would be a better place for it.
Read it. Fewer control options than I like, but I'll just have to try it once I get it and I'll see if I wanna splurge on one with more options.Find Tip #11 in this thread. That talks about the Compressor feature.
