Heath, it's your money, buy what you can afford and what sounds best to your ears. Also, ask the repair techs in your area as to what brands and models of amps they see coming in for repairs the most. I have'nt personally used Behringer's gear so I can't make any comments regarding their performance. I can fully understand that you're trying to get as much amp as you can for your money. But do a lot of research on Behringer's reliability before you buy one. Do a lot of research on every brand of power amp that you can afford, it will be worth the effort. If the Behringer amp turns out to be the absolute best amp you can afford, buy it.
All that being said, I've owned QSC amps for many years, IMO they're a great sounding, reliable amp. It's unfortunate that their amps are so expensive in your area. Hopefully that will change soon. FYI/FWIW I've also had great results with Crown, Crest Audio, and Peavey amps- are any of these brands available in your area at good prices?
