Took me a few days to really settle I that buckeye, but I like it with that pale moon

awesome bass. i always regretted not getting a single cut 7 from chris back in my buying days. now, with 3 kids and 13 7+'s i can't really justify the expense .

Wow, here I was thinking I was going to be the only person to tune this way! to me it just seems to makie the most sense since I play guitar a lot too

heh. i've tuned my 7's like that since '93.

Im so excited to try this tuning. To a guitar mind it makes so much more sense than all 4ths

I tune my 7s like that as well. It throws off the scalar symmetry a touch, but it's no real trouble to adapt if you also play guitar, and is so much more practical for accessing extended and barre chords.

That was why I put a high B on my first 5 string back in 1990. My 7 is guitar tuning as well.

I actually want a 30" scale DCD 6 string tuned E-E some day
