Thanks for checking in guys. It's not done yet, but I'm actually having another 7 string made that will be done on the same batch. It'll be a fretted 7 string double cut, with a wenge fretboard and this for a top

yep =) I wasn't planning on ordering the second one till later down the road, but a fellow TB'er was awesome enough to buy my 6 string benavente, so I had the cash for the new one.! so excited!

Actually it's the best instrument I have ever played/owned. Hands down!

I believe it Dan! The only basses i've owned for the last 6 years or so have been benavente's. I had a fretted 6 and a 4 string fretless. Neither of which I thought I'd part with until I decided that 7 was going to be my prime number
