no home owner's insurance?
well I'm a musician, but not a yuppie, and I have a fulltime job. but I would never not insure my home and its possessions...js....its not THAT expensive
stop pretending that it's anything but irresponsible to not insure your home and its possessions
Dude has a wife and three kids and they lost everything, including damage to a neighbor’s home. I’m sure he had insurance, but imagine starting from scratch after imagining how long before any settlement comes through. To be clear, I am not angry that you asked this.no home owner's insurance?
Also, great question about playing an ex’s wedding. Really made me think. Still don’t have a good answer. Feel like I should have no problem with it. But I would.
No and no...What is your opinion on playing a benefit for a former band member who was fired? We were asked to do a show, but I'm leaning towards "weird," even though he was fired before I joined up (NOT talking about the bassist I replaced). We are doing it, but I wanted to ask you folks.
Also (not really related but where my head is with this): has anyone ever played their ex's wedding? Because... Dang.
THIS!!! Awesome way to view this!Sounds like Grace and Compassion. Neither of which are affected by his former employment nor the reason he left. Just my tuppence.
It maybe should be noted that the details surrounding the benefit’s reason and circumstances involved were not mentioned in the original post.No and no...
Especially the not related
Dang no...
I thought this was about health benefits. It was even stranger...![]()
Many people in remote areas of Hawaii, especially on the Big Island, cannot buy home owner's insurance because they live in a lava zone. I can't judge a person for not having home insurance. He may not have been able to buy it even if he wanted to buy insurance.no home owner's insurance?
I only read your post and replied. Never thought to scroll. So at least with one person you can say you did not get into any detailsI originally did not want to get into the details of this particular benefit. I was simply wondering how many of you would think it was weird to do one for a former member. Like, maybe the guitarist slept with your ex-drummer’s wife and needed money for surgery. Or maybe a former member had stolen some gear and fell off a roof. But, here we are.
What?! Who’s got a problem with tort? It's cool that we can argue about tort and class d vs tubes all day, but when it comes down to it, you're all reasonably kickass human beings.
I still hate tort tho.
Still does not take being fired well, a few years later.
I didn’t read the spoiler I SWEARWhat?! Who’s got a problem with tort?
I’m not sure. I pretty much just do what they tell me.So what does the fired party think of you guys playing his benefit?
I hate tort. I mean, on MY basses. I’m sure it looks great on everyone else’s. In bizarro world.I didn’t read the spoiler I SWEAR
