The Bluetooth pedal is up and running. I will be able to give a more accurate release date in the not too distant future. It took longer than anticipated since we had to work thru newer revs of the ucontroller's firmware which supported the bluetooth and then bring all our existing code up to the current rev as well. For bluetooth pedal users, I'm planning on adding a 3rd memory location which will only be switchable thru the pedal. BTW, this is not meant to slight non pedal users. There's just no user friendly way to implement it with the B|AMP's front panel controls. I know, we fell short...sorry to disappoint! ;-}

Do the memories include FX loop in or out? i.e. Memory 1 would have setting as desired but with no fx and setting 2 would have settings as desired but with fx so that I could set my fx before a song started and then just have one pedal in front of me? That would be very cool indeed.

Actually, after exploring this further, I may be able to pull it off with the existing hardware. I will let you know...

OOooooops.

Heck, no way it's out because Jim would have emailed me first. he knows I have dough in my desk drawer just waiting to be sent to Massachusetts the minute a production version is ready.

I would be thrilled with one that rotates among the "three" presets. Anything else it does, including maybe even a mute function, would be gravy on top of the chicken.

Yeah, that would be the way to go, if at all possible. My main use would be twofold: engaging the bright setting for a solo, and switching overdrive/distortion in and out rather than going back to the amp. Most of the time, when I change EQ only, I'm changing basses and I'm back in the amp area anyway at that point.

It would be able to do this already with the current Mem setups. What we're planning on for the pedal functions (it's a dual pedal) is press and release Left pedal - engages/disengages Mem1 and press and release Right Pedal - engages/disengages Mem 2 (Same way it's currently done manually on B|AMP). In addition, pressing and holding the left pedal engages/disengages soon to be Mem3, and Pressing and Holding the right Pedal Engages/Disengages Mute. I think you may be misunderstanding Peredur's suggestion. He wants, as part of a memory scene, to be able to select whether or not anything connected in the effects loop in the back of the B|AMP can be switched in and out. So let's say you have your favorite pedal or pedals you may want to have as part of an effect, but not your main signal, you would be able to insert these pedals in the B|AMP's effects loop, and through a Mem save determine whether or not the B|AMP's effect loop is part of your signal chain, so when you recall that Mem location, it now would have the ability to switch in and out the B|AMP's effects loop. As it turns out, we can actually do this and I will be looking into it further.

1) How about press and hold both pedal switches for Memory 4
2) How about banks of memories accessed through the program button?

Come to think of it he might even threaten to take over the world unless we pay him "One MILLION dollars ransom!"
That does it Jim! I was holding back before but now, on behalf of we, your people, I am demanding a bluetooth pedal WITH laser beams, gosh darn it!

Indeed, I was actually worrying about battery life but this seems to do great. I guess it will also be able to work as a regular Airturn PED, so we're not only getting a B|Amp-specific pedal but something that can also be utilised elsewhere! Nice!
