I checked out version 4.21 this weekend.. The switching is seamless, very smooth... And I really like the new compressor !!
Same here. I've said it before and I'll say it again...you have got to love a piece of gear that just keeps getting better and better and better...Just installed v4.22...quick and effortless. Like having the new delayed fan engagement (quiet location) option. My B|Amp wasn't triggering the fan prior to the update (in auto mode, when using at home)... but, nice to have it set up this way.
Q for the rest of you Berg B owners here. I was not on line a week ago when the 4.22 update came in and just getting to it today. But, I have received two different emails with the update file; one of which is from an aol address I don't recall seeing before. Anyone know what that is all about?
They are both legit...no worriesQ for the rest of you Berg B owners here. I was not on line a week ago when the 4.22 update came in and just getting to it today. Arghhh...
OK, 4.22 installed, easy peasy.
BUT...
Footswitch was non responsive, even though the head was paired and Mem1 and Mem2 are set.
I tried re-pairing and now the amp only shows "Searching for Pedal."
I'm posting this here rather than Pm'ing Jim, simply because the re-pairing procedure isn't documented that I can find, and the 6 second depression of the power switch described on the back doesn't seem to work. So, it seems a few of us may run into this, and we might as well get the procedure listed here somewhere.
Or, maybe, I'm just missing something obvious, as I've been known to do.
OK. Thanks, Jim. Will do.Email me your phone number at [email protected] and I would be happy to give you a call and walk you thru the pairing process and make sure your pedal is working properly.
Jim

So they set up their B AMP and cabs in an anechoic chamber, ran pink noise through it, and watched the analyzer. They fiddled with the tone controls and got it as flat as they could and then saved those settings in the amp as a profile. They did this for each of their speakers and are adding more as we speak. COOL. I've got major GAS for a B AMP with a HDN212. All I need is $2500.00 or so.![]()
Do it. God's tone. I use 2xHDN210s or an HDN210+HDN112 with my B|Amp.So they set up their B AMP and cabs in an anechoic chamber, ran pink noise through it, and watched the analyzer.
