Bergantino B/Amp at NAMM

Just installed v4.22...quick and effortless. Like having the new delayed fan engagement (quiet location) option. My B|Amp wasn't triggering the fan prior to the update (in auto mode, when using at home)... but, nice to have it set up this way.
Same here. I've said it before and I'll say it again...you have got to love a piece of gear that just keeps getting better and better and better...

Q for the rest of you Berg B owners here. I was not on line a week ago when the 4.22 update came in and just getting to it today. But, I have received two different emails with the update file; one of which is from an aol address I don't recall seeing before. Anyone know what that is all about?

That was from me. It is fine and the same as from sales. Either will work for you.

Arghhh...

OK, 4.22 installed, easy peasy.

BUT...

Footswitch was non responsive, even though the head was paired and Mem1 and Mem2 are set.

I tried re-pairing and now the amp only shows "Searching for Pedal."

I'm posting this here rather than Pm'ing Jim, simply because the re-pairing procedure isn't documented that I can find, and the 6 second depression of the power switch described on the back doesn't seem to work. So, it seems a few of us may run into this, and we might as well get the procedure listed here somewhere.

Or, maybe, I'm just missing something obvious, as I've been known to do.

Email me your phone number at [email protected] and I would be happy to give you a call and walk you thru the pairing process and make sure your pedal is working properly.

I had trouble with the 4.22 firmware update loading. I emailed the chaps at Bergantino and they helped me all the way thru getting it set straight.
Turns out that I had to re format the USB drive- even tho it's a USB drive that I keep in my B-Amp bag and only use it for the amp.
Anyway. ..altho I cannot comment on the footswitch etc. ..coz I ain't got one yet. ... but it's all locked n loaded.
I used the B-Amp with one of my Bassman Pro Neo 115 cabs last Sat night at the regular club gig we've had for nearly 15 yrs.... & this was with the 3.22 firmware. ..before I'd loaded the update. ... sounded amazing. :hyper:
Positive comments from all band members and our sound engineer
Thanx Bergantino guys for the help. Oh. ..and for such a great amp! :bassist:

So they set up their B AMP and cabs in an anechoic chamber, ran pink noise through it, and watched the analyzer. They fiddled with the tone controls and got it as flat as they could and then saved those settings in the amp as a profile. They did this for each of their speakers and are adding more as we speak. COOL. I've got major GAS for a B AMP with a HDN212. All I need is $2500.00 or so. :)

That's a great combo. I have that exact setup, as well as a HDN210 that I use with it for practice. I wouldn't trade these for anything!

Here is a shout out to Jim B and great customer service. Saturday late afternoon (PST) I turn on the B Amp to find that the foot switch will not connect. I fiddle around for a bit before concluding that I don't know how to fix it. I email the Bergantino web site explaining the problem and get an email from Holly in less than 10 minutes asking for my phone number. 20 minutes later Jim is on the phone walking me through the fix (check the BT status in the program settings and re-pair the footswitch to the dongle).

Great customer service late on a Saturday night from the man himself.

The gear sounds great, is supported by people who care about the customers and it is ever improving with firmware updates and new features.

Very happy I switched to the B Amp.

Cheers
Neil

Do it. God's tone. I use 2xHDN210s or an HDN210+HDN112 with my B|Amp.

Tell us about the 112 and 210 combo! I have a CN410 (which gives a great big produced sound for gigs) and a CN112 in the studio (very hifi) and they both do things I wish the other did. I never thought about combining them and maybe getting the best of both.

Cheers
