Bergantino B/Amp at NAMM

I'm in a position where a pair of HD112 cabs have become available to buy, has anyone got a B-amp paired with these cabs?

Yeah, that's a killer combination. I use my B|Amp with a pair of HT-112ER cabinets when I don't feel like hauling my NV-610.

I prefer the sound of a sealed cabinet, so I usually crank the HPF up to between 50 and 60Hz when I play through the pair of 112's. That tames the low end a little bit, like a sealed cab does naturally. That HPF is yet another feature of the B|Amp that I've come to learn I cannot live without.

Finally got everything in place, cab profiles loaded and can't wait for next rehearsal!

Question. If you load up this new version that uses the aux control for drive etc. . Does it COMPLETELY disable the aux control from being the previous function. ...always? Or just when it's set to an overdrive?

Hey Rod, pretty sure it will always disable it even when not when drive is toggled on.

Obviously, your aux in still works but you'd just have to use your device as the volume control.

I got my B | Amp yesterday from Juan Ortiz at Bass and Beyond in Rancho Cordova, CA. This is replacing my long time use of an Eden Navigator separates rig. I rushed home and called Bergantino and then spoke to Jim Bergantino for 30 minutes while walked me through ever facet and firmware upgrade of the amp over the phone. Not an uncommon thing as this thread clear indicates but non the less top shelf service. I've been a die hard Sansamp VT Bass, more specifically a Sansamp Bass Fly Rig (use the comp too) pedal user now for a long time. After about five minutes with the OD on the B | Amp I can see that I no longer need that pedal. Any other B | Amp guys leaving their OD and comp pedals at home?

We will also be having some new firmware releases in the near future. I think you'll like what we did with the compressor!

Oh yes I believe they will. This amp just keeps getting better and better and better. It's surreal at times if you really think about how far it's come jut in a couple years AND it was stellar from day 1.
