Best 1x12 cab out there?

I've been searching at I'm actually finding it more difficult to make a decision on a 1x12 cab (possibly two 1x12 cabs together!) I go for a warm, clean, fat sound.
What are the best 12'' cabs out there for the money? I'm looking to spend up to $800 or so in a relatively lightweight cab.

I've heard decent things about the neo GK 112, and the Aggie GS 112s do rock -- they do pack a fat punch. I'll be matching it up with the SVT3Pro head which has a lot of tone control, so if I go with Aggie 112, I can always EQ the mids up a bit.

The Dr Bass 1580 interests me a ton. The 1580 vs. 2 Aggie GS112 is my biggest decision right now. I have played the GS112s but not the 1580.

I honestly don't envy your position. I just went through it. There are so many cabs that fit the bill that are made by such great companies. Eventually I went with the Aggies because there's a lot of info on this site on them and not many people have bad things to say.The other choice that I came close to was the Bergantino's.

My two faves:

1) Genz Benz Neox112t. Very deep and rich tone. It's a fairly big box for a 1x12, but they keep the weight down to 37 pounds with the Neo speaker. The Neox doesn't get mentioned a lot in threads like this, but it definitely has a few fans. I think it's a pretty superior cab. I've called it the best sounding single-driver cab I've ever played through. I love it solo, and it really comes alive in the mix. 2) EA Wizzy. I may try these again someday. I used to have two of them plus an iAmp 500. Nice rig, especially for upright. The Wizzy is a pretty special cab, imho. Warm, nice mid bump that I like for fretless, and sweet, smooth highs from the coax speaker. The MLine version apparently has deeper lows and less pronounced mids (not scooped, but not as prominent as the standard Wizzy).

Here is the link to the 1x12 shootout. I do need to update it, though, as I have picked up a few more very good 1x12's, namely the EBS Neo112, EA M-line Wizzy, and Bergantino HT122s. I would love to get a pair of Aguilar DB112's, too, and throw them into the mix. :D

Did GB send you a Neox112t for testing, by any chance, or just the 212? I'm pretty amazed by how close the 112 sounds to the 212. Maybe a tad bit more mids in the 112, more bass in the 212, but in general they sound amazingly close.

So far, they have only sent me the two Neox212T's.
