+1 to Hugo Largo. I converted my EP to digital a few years back, and it's always nice to hear them pop up on my iPod.

Oh yeah, I saw them live back in the late '80s at the I-Beam in SF. Great show. Didn't know who they were, and was so impressed I bought the album the next day.

All Bass and Mandolin.
I think he's either really big or he plays a small bass because on the cover his bass looks like a big cello.

That Vic Wooten/Steve Bailey project is mind-boggling for bass. Can't think of the name.

It's called "Bass Extremes" and it is ridiculous. Some really good musicians make appearances on some tracks as well.

Well I gotta go with Wooten's debut solo project A Show of Hands. Unless I'm mistaken, it was the first completely solo bass record (with some vocals) no overdubs. That in my opinion is the best bass oriented album of all time. But you really can't go wrong with any Wooten records.
