Best bass thing you ever bought?

Berg NV610
I only use it for gigs, it spends the rest of the time resting in my garage. Too big for me to lug up and down a flight and a half of stairs, but oh at my gigs... my singer described it as "thick, hard and pulsating!
That's kind how it makes me feel when I play through it!

Latest add: Mackie 402VLZ3 4 channel mixer. Some people I respect here were talking about using it often. I now have one hooked to my stereo and my computer. At night if I'm listening to anyone's tracks I can plug in and play along. You can strip down the original bass so you're playing on top.

Not sure if I've posted in this one before, and I'll be damned if I'm gonna miss a perfectly good opportunity to shamelessly post at least one picture, or more!! Probably more!!

My Roland micro cube bass amp:
- it's like a hi-fi stereo with a bass preamp section built into it
- works as a bulky DI but with a pair of 2.5 watt monitor amps in it.
- can't get loud enough to damage my already damaged hearing further.
- built in amp models which are sometimes usable.
- a heavenly stereo chorus
- built in very basic drum machine
- will work on batteries if needed.
- has hi-fi stereo input so I can play along with all my fav. tunes :)

Too bad I got rid of all my recording gear years ago. This would be perfect as a recording DI and monitor...

Ampeg SVT410HLF cab

great cab - great bass and midrange. For my baritone guitar better than guitarist's marshall :)

I am also satisfied with my SVT7PRO head, but without 2OHM support, i can't connect more than single SVT410HLF, this is not enought for live performance.
