best bassist?

How many rings ;) . I don't even know who that is. That one was a joke. This is the dude who thought it was a good idea to use left over carpet to redo part of his roof to save money, you don't even want to see the inside of his house :vomit:
So Dan Marino sucked more than Mark Rypien because Mark had a ring and Dan didn't? Interesting. But I disagree. Prove to me that more Super Bowl wins means you're a better quarterback.

Goalie for the Penguins.

Glad to hear Carson was a joke, I wouldn't let him operate on a box turtle.

Your neighbor sounds thrifty, but maybe not considering the long haul.

Honestly I would say that right now, the best living bassist ; and by "the best" , I mean the most musically and technically proficient and versatile, would have to be: Richard Bona. I'm not sure there's anything he CAN'T do on bass, and I don't think many cats could touch him when it comes to playing and singing at the same time while playing complex chordal, rythmic, and melodic music. If you haven't watched and or listened to Richard Bona's performances, you are missing out. Hit the YouTube and prepare to be amazed.
