Best Bluetooth Compact Speaker System For Travel Today?

I'm spending more time working outside in the garden, working on my house, in the garage, etc.

I need my music. Besides just sounding good overall, the best-sounding bass response in a compact form is an essential feature.

From one bass player to another. Anyone? Recommendations? Suggestions?

Hyperboom is more expensive and bigger but has more bass.

Wirecutter says the Earfun UBoom L is bassier than the Wonderboom. I’ve never heard one in the wild though and can’t speak to it. The Best Portable Bluetooth Speaker

If you don't need battery power capability, these sound killer. Made by Sonos and sold by Ikea. I have one in my office and I'm always amazed by how great it sounds.

This one kicks butt and has the best bass with it's own metal sub located on the back of the unit. I went through 4 different Bluetooth speakers before finding this one by Photive. I first heard this at my lead guitar players house and could no believe how good the bass is so I bought one for myself.
Its housing is built really strong also and can take some abuse.

Those look very nice. Something I'd more likely consider for use in clean indoor environments. To narrow it down better, I want something robust enough to take more places without me feeling neurotic about keeping it pristine.

For example, I'm in the midst of doing a gut rehab of the 100-year-old craftsman granny flat behind my house, including stripping and repairing old fashion hardwood window sashes and the front door--lots of dirty work.

The JBL is good for that too and is definitely a better speaker. But for 30 bucks the Anker one is pretty great.

Those JBLs are great, but if you want something compact the Tribit MaxSound Plus is good. It sounds decent, and seems very robust. The bass boost feature is good for music, but for podcasts I leave it off. I think it's an excellent value.
