Best Chorus Pedal for Bass?

I've got an MXR coming in the mail. The Bass/Treble/Crossover controls sold it for me .
The Flanger option is handy too.

I only use Modulation as a full on effect thing but for me it comes up often.

I'm touring a bit with a 3pc band and I have to make a little more noise sometimes to support the guitar.

SUBTLE chorus coming in and out can be very effective at almost creating a keyboard pad

Markbass Chorus - Flanger - 3 presets for chorus, 3 presets for flanger; effects can be modified (including EQ settings) via USB cable and Markbass software on PC or Mac, settings can then be saved back to the pedal as a preset - price, used around $130. No tone suck, true bypass, 12v, built like a tank. Hard to beat the ability to edit the presets including the EQ to such a degree and save those settings back to the pedal without tone suck for this money.

Have you considered the EHX small clone?? Forgot about that one.

I've tried that one on bass, since I bought it primarily for guitar, and the input is a little too sensitive for my basses. It tends to clip or max out a little too easily for me, but I bought it used so it could be a fault with the pedal itself. Love the sound though, very warm and natural sounding.

Best NOT to use chorus pedal on bass :) :)

more reason to use one… I just got an '80 Ibanez SC10 stereo analog chorus and have been loving it straight and coupled w/an MXR Fuzz Deluxe and MXR bass d.i.+
Really fun to re-energize the creative juices introducing something new. (old or whatever) Old is new is old is new…etc.

choruses are very subjective; I've had a bunch, never loved them until I was turned on to the Analogman chorus - now I'm set.

But many folks love the old Boss CE3. It just didn't work for me.

I found the CE3 too subtle to my taste. This is the main reason that I get ride.

Devinp17,I´m considering the MXR Microchorus. It´s cheapper and I like this warm sound, but not the level volume issue.

Once I get my amp head back or buy a new one, I plan on buying the tc electronic corona, you can download stuff on your CPU, or download the app on your phone or tablet and just point it at the pedal and you can modify the sound, or down load the chorus that some of the people who is endorsed by them use (like frank bello, Troy sanders etc)

While I don't believe there is a "best chorus pedal" I really like the TC SCF and the Jam Bass Waterfall (I own both). I also saw a video of the Tech 21 Bass Boost Chorus that sounded very good as well but no first hand experience with that one. If I was looking now I would check out those.
