Best Colour for Punk Bass

I think white basses are most appealing for punk rock because blood stains show up best against a white background.

That's a great point, and I was just laughing to myself imagining an older orchestra member saying that about a violin. Just because older would be funnier.

Completely subjective, but I've noticed a lot of Punk basses are white, which just doesn't seem "punk" to an Auslander like myself, but really seems to work none-the-less. So I wanted to ask those who know: In your opinions: What is the "best colour" for a Punk bass?

‘I think in most cases, the best color is not entirely remaining on the bass. As for the shade, I’m not your guy.

I googled "Punk Bass" and it does appear that white is pretty popular with punk players.

Even the Lego punk bass player has a white Pbass.

Yes - that was the "era". Mid-late 70s Fender P, white with black guard - no frills!

Apply stickers, sweat, snot, and blood to taste. (I left out 2)

As a punk bassist myself I lean towards colors like green, purple, pink, and even some metallic sparkly colors. However, you can’t go wrong with a black or white P Bass either. Here’s a few green ones I’ve had. The Lakland is my current bass.
