Best combo amp under 25 pounds?

I use and like the Markbass 112 and it makes a nice modular rig if you add the NY121 cab. For me the combo by itself is usually enough but I bring the second cab anyway. I would not personally want to gig with a 110. I had a GK112 for a year or so and liked that one too. Donated it to my church, otherwise I might still have it, but I liked the Markbass better.

This. I get a lot of mileage out of a One10 + MB200.

For jazz trio gigs, that will be more than enough, and will sound great.

As Nev375 noted, the MB200 will fit in a gig bag pouch, but several of us have been very pleased using a Cajon bag to carry the cab, amp, and all cables-- so it's an easy one-hand carry, and holds everything, self-contained.

I suggest Phil Jones Bass amps.

+1 for the GK MB-150s.

I use mine way more than I ever planned when I bought it (used). It's built like a tank and has a remarkable amount of tones. I have the carrying bag and it gets slung over my shoulder (<30 lbs.)

It's not loud like a 500 watt head, but it is perfect for smaller venues and for onstage sound.

Edit: It ain't cheap.

I gave up on combos last year and use a TH500 and either a Barefaced One 10 (17 pounds) or a Bergantino CN112 (28 pounds). Both work well with the TH and are better than almost any combo. The Berg and TH is especially nice but a slightly heavier carry. I use the One 10 for practices and some gigs. Since you already have a TH I would recommend looking at small high quality cabs.

I own the GK MB112, love it. I also own the Markbass MiniMark and love it even more. IMHO you can't go wrong with either one. Super lightweight, great tone. The GK puts out a lot more volume than the MiniMark, if you need something that can still put out. But I use the MiniMark with my jazz trio all the time, great little amp for that setting.

This is definitely a low volume application, background music in country club lobbies. I've been using a little 50 watt Eden 110 combo for this and it actually has plenty of volume. The tone just doesn't hold up when we add a drummer to the trio. I have my full Aguilar/TecAmp S212 rig for anything I do when I'll need more.

Nice! Which MiniMark are you using? I see there's a couple different versions.
