edit: on the top of that "many more" list should be Tommy Stinson.. I also always thought of Lemmy as a punk bassist, I suppose that is debatable.. Lemmy is pretty punk rock though, if you ask me.

Personally I think Lemmy belongs in a sub-category all his own. Genius.
Punk-wise.....JJ Burnel, no question. And Bruce Foxton, although I was never quite sure how punk the Jam really were. But yeah, those 2 do it for me. I also liked Paul Gray when he was in the Damned.
