for fun/funny/beer/money: i thought i'd get some POV's from TB members!

this is an allen eden paddle neck: 34" scale, jazz/nut (1.5) spec. it will (should) eventually go onto a fender p-lyte body. i will have to marry the neck and body (heel/neck pocket) with some wizardry, but i intend to use the cheap neck ($65) and the old body i have (currently unused) to get a gig-worthy instrument...:D

i've been downloading templates, but as the neck arrived today, i'm thinking that this is a perfect place to get current opinions. i'm looking for both worthless and priceless opinions... and maybe even some creative ones, too.

anyway: i'd like your responses to the age-old question: "what is the best headstock shape?"

if i use your headstock shape suggestion = i will send you a case of fine mexican beer (tecate!) for your sipping pleasure (or monetary equivalent, i.e. $20 USD --- this is the fine print: read carefully)!

thanks in advance for your thoughtful attention!

jim

i didn't see anything in the rules forbidding this thread, but if it's not allowed, i will assume that it will be properly dispatched. my apologies a priori that possibility. i will dispose of the beer in my own way.

with a headstock shaped like.....uhhh..... Phallic would be the appropriate word I guess
is there enough wood on that paddle to do it justice? :D

The legendary, the almighty Fender Precision. Perfect from headstock to endpin
i haven't ruled it out, but i've already got that one among my instruments --- thought i'd look at options!
