Best Looking Bass....

Those Teye basses (and the guitars...lordy) appeal to my inner steampunk geek. If you're gonna go ornate, that's one way to do it right.

Without any function to the frippery and finery, it's not "Steampunk", merely "Ornate" or possibly even "Baroque". Don't believe me? Then let's ask a professional…

My two favorite looking basses are ones that I have owned. The first is a 1978 Fender Jazz in Sienna Sunburst. It was stolen in 1984 and I haven't found another one like it. The second is a 2011 MIA Jazz Deluxe which has been modified with Lindy Fralin pickups and a pearl pickguard. The nass, pickups and pickguard were a gift from my wife.
