Just found this thread after grabbing a used Washburn AB10. It's the old model with the sunburst finish and the oval cutout. I have to say, I was really impressed with it. I wasn't even looking for an acoustic, but for some reason I wandered in to the acoustic section and was immediately drawn to it. I played all the other ABGs and kept coming back to it. Great warm sound, and it was much louder than the others I played. I probably just found a gem.
To be honest, this is the first Washburn I've ever played that I've liked. Completely blown away. The best part is it was used, and apparently no one liked it cuz they marked it down from $369 to $169. Not the prettiest thing on the planet, but it sounds great, so who cares? Score!
