Best phaser for bass

I'm thinking of replacing my old full sized one with a smaller Nano version. Anyone notice a difference in sound or performance between the two?
I had the phase 90 and love it!!

I am not regretting the Psilocybe! Just got it yesterday and I'm grinning from ear to ear playing with this thing! I don't hear any low end loss except when one of the toggles is in a certain position. Now, I am in no way an authority on phasers, but I'm done looking for one.
The Psilocybe is on my board and I'm done looking.

I would like a phaser but don't want to spend much...seems like it's between the mxr phase 90 or ehx small stone nano...decisions decisions...
I want to buy a phaser pedal, but I want it to have a control especifically to the volume.

I found the nebula IV, and the retrosonic, but they are made for guitars... is that a problem??
Maybe a little pricey, but the new Pigtronix Bass Envelope Phaser is a funky little beast, with enough low-end to pull you right through to China.

I'm surprised no one mentioned the Orbital Modulator, considering how much love it gets around here. Is it just not that good with its phaser effects?
Check out my post #29 above. The Retro-Sonic sounds great and has plenty of low end.
Not really sure about that, Grand Orbiter can be very well heard in the mix, just depends how you set your sweep, depth and resonance. If you crank up the sweep too much, you get a barely audible sweep on bass IME. Resonance really controls the intensity of the phasing and depth acts like a mix knob. It's not as obtrusive and chewy in the mix (compared to say phase 90), but it has the pulse like no other phaser I've heard. I was testing it at home (medium volume) once, and I literally felt the pulse in my stomach, that's how strong the phasing can get. Almost made me sick (in a good way!)
i remember really liking the Boss ph2 ... its a bit too prominent, so i usually dont use it for more than a part.

My Fav phaser is the Boss PH-2 Super Phaser. 12-stages of analog goodness, lots of range with the depth and res, rate has lots of possibilities, 2 modes (I:chewy, II
rominent/drippy).
The best part are the mods that one can do to it: not sure if I can post a direct link here but just Google; "super phaser mods" and the first page is a detailed run through of these mods.
I've done the LFO disable (stops the sweep for a phase-matrix sound), Phase inversion (known as the pulse mod; turns the waveform upside down for a very pronounced sweep). I also changed the bypass LED and added an LED for the phase inversion rate.

Add another vote for the HBE Psilocybe! I love mine, and it stacks so well with a fuzz or distortion pedal before it. I find it to be a certain vocal quality to passages. Definitely worth the money.
I haven't tried many phasers, but the HBE is on my board currently and I'm really digging it. I agree, it is especially fun with some fuzz in front....even if i don't have a practical application for that particular combination at the moment
I really liked both the Maxon Phaser Pro+ and Pigtronix Envelope Phaser when I had them. If I still used phase I'd have kept the Pigtronix.
