Best phaser for bass

I have a vintage Phase 45 that my dad passed down to me. I really enjoyed the sounds from it but didn`t like adding wear n` tear to a vintage unit. I also wanted a pedal that wasn`t battery powered. I ended up buying a Moore Orange 90 that I`m very happy with.

Sounds great and capable of very long swells. I have the chance to buy it from my drummer and it works perfectly, but the footswitch alone is bigger than most of my regular pedals!

The only phaser I have (and actually tried) is a Black Russian Small Stone - I like it and sounds great with my 'Russian connection' - Big Muff and Bass Balls. фантастический

I just reactivated a Phaser patch I created on the 60B, similar to a block 90 effect. So that's my favorite phase thing right now.

I hear less clipping with Phase 100 although I use a passive jazz and I haven't really had any particular clipping problem with Phase 90. I'm still waiting for my Phat Phuk B to see how it will handle a hotter signal. It doesn't sound too subtle on the first setting (biggest wave/depth) IMO since it's not a dark sounding phaser like say Grand Orbiter which just went way too deep for my taste. Not too many good clips of Phase 100 on bass on the Internet besides Juan's short clip and one clip I found of a guy testing it against a digital multieffect (not sure which one). Aram Bedrosian did a clip but it sounds way too subtle (he set it on the most subtle setting). Honestly, I like both Phase 90 and 100, preffering the 100 tone but I for one found out I don't need a phaser with all the bells and whistles and tons of control. If I like the inherit tone, that's it for me. Phase 100 is exactly that IME.

I put my Phase 100 after my Swollen Pickle. It handles a hotter signal just fine.

SA Orbital gets my vote. Great sounding (best to me) and versatile pedal from an excellent company.

HBE Psilocybe is my favorite of all I've tried as long as you aren't looking for super subtle tones. Nice and chewy without being too dark. If it came in a smaller box it might make the cut on my small board.

Wow, this thread started in 2004 and goes to 2014, ALMOST a decade ago.
I am looking for a delay and phaser in one pedal, if possible, but I have a BOSS DD-7 (?) so I was thinking of the Seymour Duncan Phaser. Seems like the best sounding bass phaser. Any suggestions ?

I ended up buying the Seymour Duncan Polaron this weekend and won an auction on Ebay for the Behringer Ultra Flanger for a single $3.00 bid !!!!
