IMO, never tort or black, just as common as the white you're moving away from. Personally I like to have either the pickguard or the bass be a little more "eye-catching" I have white on one bass but the body is custom painted in a design I like.

Pickguard planet has tons of cool colors, I'm not affiliated with them just found them when pickguard shopping myself.

Just some thoughts, if you aren't looking to go that far off the norm I'd go with the white pearl that was mentioned. Love the blue color, nice bass!

That flat blue calls out for some contrast, and texture brings it. aged white pearl, the "blue candy crush, above, or a black abalone. Thought about black pearl, but not so big on black next to a rosewood board, even if it is nice and dark.

I almost never go with parchment . . . until I saw your first picture. That is a perfect pairing with your bass and it matches the road worn. My vote is sticking with your parchment guard.

One more thing . . . when you are ready to sell that bad boy, ping me first!
