and for more formal stuff I wear black dress shoes or toms

Are those supposed to remind me of these?

As far as my own choice of footwear, I base my decision on what pair I don't mind wearing into a bar bathroom.

I guess that is the end of this non-technical issue. I guess when people start chiming in on farm animals we all get tired of that line of conversation.

Actually, I just missed it. When people started talking about shoes it stopped being about bass playing.

Double Doc! Dr. Marten boots side-zip square-toe clown boots with 1" soles AND Dr. Scholls industrial-strength insoles. I jump and move and tend to keep aggressive tibia-smashing time with my right heel when the funk is hap'nin. The look of your shoes are important, especially on higher stages where the dancers can see your feet more than your hands or the name on your axe. If you go barefoot, at least get a pedicure. long dirty nails, ewwwww.

SanÜk Sidewalk Surfers w/un-barefoot technology...look it up. They're most comfortable shoes I've ever worn, I wear them while gigging, while not gigging, and if I could, while sleeping.

I have three pairs...two newer and one pair from the last run of shoes made in the garage in cali, those look like swiss cheese but I still ware them...
