Would it be possible to replace the shoestrings with either a .045 stainless steel G string or a .130 B string? Would the B string add to or counter the inherent low frequencies of the shoes such that "stacking" would be possible? Maybe a G string on the left shoe and a B or E string on the right shoe would balance the pair. When cleaning should you remove the strings before soaking in alcohol or does the shoe itself require cleaning also?
New Balance for casual gigs, black dress shoe for the rest.
NO!!!Don't replace the shoestrings! It would be bad. What do I mean "bad"??? Imagine every molecule in your body stopping instantaneously and all of the matter the universe suddenly exploding at the speed of light. Okay? That would be bad. Important safety tip!
Either a pair of K-Swiss sneakers or my trusty old Dr. Martins.
