Best shoes for bass?

Inspired by a barefoot playing thread, I'd like to pose the question, what do you most prefer to wear on your feets when you play?

bare feet. shoes hurt, flip flops hurt, moccasins aren't too bad but still hurt. i can stand all day in bare feet.

depends on what clothes I am wearing... I have all kind of shoes type in so different colors thanks to my wife, she will kill me if my shoes does not look good with my outfit and as you know nothing better than keep the wife happy.

I play in a soul revue where we are all in black suits, so I wear some Steve Madden dress shoes.

I wear shoes that are specially designed for bass. The soles are made of a high-tech polymer developed by Dupont for the space program. This material advances the propagation of frequencies from 30hz through 4khz thereby increasing the transmission of bass output into the audience by 3db. Electrically you are the "ground" and I do believe you can get electrocuted that way if your equipment ain't right

Toms. I would play barefoot but I've seen some pretty gross stage floors.
