The long scale worked perfectly!!
I had to pay for one day shipping, because I have a gig tomorrow. It's totally worth it!

Hey Ojakov,
How did the bass play/sound - going to look at the Verythin on Friday.
I hope the strings treated you nicely!

I wonder how would you compare them?Well.. It's different from truly hollow body violin bass I have.
I like it, but it's not the same..
UPDATE:
I've been using TI Jazz Flats (short-scale) on both of my Höfner Verythin basses... my older sunburst 500/7 with short tailpiece and newer red 500/7 with the longer tailpiece.
I found that the long tailpiece not only looks better (IMO), View attachment 740289 but also improves intonation on the lower frets, so after alot of pestering of Höfer, I was able to get my hands on another long tailpiece for my older sunburst bass!
