Best strings to get my warwick to growl?

What i was wondering was what strings should I put on my warwick to get the best growl out of it?

I have found Warwick's growl no matter what you put on them. I might suggest DR Strings Lo-Riders. They had a wicked sound.

I have my Corvette Standard 5 strung with TI Flats right now. Still growling..

I've picked up and played ever Warwick I find at GC from top of the line to the Rock Bass, just because of their growl. I can't break down to buy due to the prices and weight, but love that growl. I agree w/ dbd1963, they growl plugged into just about everything.

Well of course its a warwick its gonna growl...What I should of said is to get it to growl more. The strings I just put on my warwick seem to bright and are taking away the growl.

I've found that to bring out the growl on both Warwicks and Spectors it's best to use nickel strings rather than stainless. For some reason the nickels bring out the right overtones.

Rotosound 66s were my string of choice for a while. They added a little nastiness to the signature Warwick tone. Before that, I used Blue Steels for a long time, and they were a nice mix.

Right now I'm using Circle K strings. I've found that they make the bass more responsive overall, allowing me to really make my Warwick bark when I need it, and just a little growl when I don't.

Ya I think he is right to lol The strings that I had on there before were nickel and the strings I got on there now are stainless steel.

I use DR Fat Beams on my Fortress and Corvette 5's and love them. I use DR Lo Riders on my Corvette Fretless.
