I say it 'might be noticeable' because I too play in worship services at my church. We have a rather large auditorium and FOH to match. I use headphones on stage through an Aviom system which means I really can't assess very low volume clicks and pops that are happening out front even though I can hear them through my headphones.
Again, this is for the Turbo Tuner ST-200. The ST-300 mini has been completely silent through my headphones.

Yes it does help. I had been looking for a used st-200 but I will be looking to purchase the st-300 mini. I noticed neither Sam Ash or GC carry it
