Big E Speakers Part 4 - Quadraphenia

It's amazing how therapeutic that can be, isn't it? I just got done doing the same thing, but with much cheaper gear. It still felt good though. I've only got 30 watts but I've fallen in love with tube amps again. Can't wait for my 112LPT, but it's still a few weeks out. That Shaw/112 combination must be amazing.

The 109 shines on gig again, especially on upright. I've struggled to get even string response from my current bass. The D is very loud. This cab really is helping even things out a bit.

And that single 10 is carrying the band with ease...

Cool to hear.

Re. the bass, do you encounter that unevenness acoustically, or just plugged in?

Just curious if anybody else is using an F deck (or other) high pass filter with their MAS cabs. I always used mine in the past, but Im not convinced that my flex 210 really needs that kind of filtering.

I have one and it goes with me in my miscellaneous gear box. I usually carry it in case my gear might be used by another player at a gig.

So I got my MAS112 w/Faital 4ohm today and WOW! There's not much I can say that you guys don't already know. Still haven't had that much time with it of course.
I've been testing it with a Demeter 201 and a Fatboy DI with a Stewart 1.2. Tomorrow Ill have a Low End True Voice.

I'm relieved at how small it actually is. It looks bigger in the photos to me.
Well, I better get back to breaking this thing in :bassist:
