I would guess with the Shaw tone stack getting more prominent mids is not as much as an issue than it might be with the Reeves tone stack?

Only one problem. We can't hear that picture!!!Confirmed: sonic farm + MAS kills! Wow this sounded amazing, I'm ruined...

Ok----I WILL get the 700 out to you this week. Trust me---night and day in comparison. (to clarify---as a friend I'm loaning my ICE 700 module amp to Jake).Confirmed: sonic farm + MAS kills! Wow this sounded amazing, I'm ruined...

Thanks Mike, when the $ comes I'll let you know, but don't hold your breath. My daughter starts high school in the fall and she's in band, ugh.I could do it no sweat. Just pm me. In regards to the previous posts---Steve and I were talking about possibly offering custom options for ---let's say--a custom wider 112 if someone didn't dig the "muffin top" aspect of a wider head on a 112. On a 112, wider would likely sound better---bigger driver chamber. I make the 112 at that width to keep it as small and manageable as possible, but I'm not adverse to size it to match an amp width. I can't go narrower or more shallow, though. Since they're all handmade by me, customization wouldn't cost a ton more. I'm also open to figure out an amp space on top.

Here's another idea to stir up some GAS - ever thought about a SuperFlex made from 2 12's, 2 6's for mid drivers and three tweeters? Imagine two of those for a PA...
(Yeah, I've got problems - I know.)

For those who don't know, the low end coming off a single 10 in these flex cabs is astounding. Bass players have been shocked at gigs to learn there's just one 10 pumping out the lows that it does. It's a bigger, fuller, rounder low end than any 112 can I've owned, that's for sure.
Take an excellent driver and put in a superior enclosure and the results are ear and mind-boggling in the best of ways.In the process of chasing down the source of some randomly occurring distortion in my home rig, I took my newest 110 Flex to the church sanctuary to make sure it was okay. It is. At one point I had both of the cabinets connected to the Reeves. That was fun!

Reminds of a classic garage rehearsal story when I was a teen.
We were rehearsing at the lead singers house in his garage. We had the door shut, but we were no doubt still pretty loud. We had just finished running through Good Times Bad Times for the umpteenth time, and realized that a mob of neighbors had amassed outside the door and were banging on it. They were rather unruly and demanded to see the lead singer's parents. After much kvetching, and us assuring them that we didn't know we were that loud and would endeavor to be more quiet, one of the neighbors began insisting that we had said over and over that we didn't care what they thought. After puzzling though it for a minute, I asked him how we could have said that given the door was closed and that this was our first encounter with them.
He said I heard you say it, over that thing (pointing to the microphone). It took me about 15 seconds to realize that he had assumed the line, "I don't care what the neighbors say" was directed at them. We eventually were able to convince them it was just one of the lines in the song and not the affront to them personally that he had assumed.
Good times!
Your turn to be witty, I see! They were obviously NOT up on their 'Zep lyrics! Communication Breakdown...![]()
